Dwight Ower

Dwight joined MVT, Inc. in January of 2008, after his retirement as Deputy Chief of the Zion Police Department.  Dwight became interested in investment management while serving as the President of the Zion Police Pension Fund for over twenty years, where he gained valuable knowledge and practical experience in the day-to-day management of a public pension fund.  Dwight also served as president of his Local F.O.P. Lodge and gained experience in employee benefits and management relations.

Dwight is the Chief Compliance Officer at MVT and a registered investment advisor representative.  He is involved in investments and services for our pension and individual clients.  Dwight manages clients’ cash flow needs and lends his experience to pension trustees with forms and systems that he designed to operate his own board efficiently.  He frequently attends pension board meetings and delivers reports that trustees find comprehensive and easy to understand. Dwight also gives presentations to current and prospective clients at educational forums.

Dwight earned his Associates’ degree in Criminal Justice from College of Lake County and also attended Park College in Kansas City, Missouri.  Dwight has earned the IACCPsm designation as an Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional
