
Mr. Ower joined the firm in January, 2008, after retiring as Deputy Chief of the Zion Police Department. He served as President of the Zion Police Pension Fund for over twenty years where he gained valuable knowledge in investments as well as practical experience in day-to-day operations of a public pension fund. He also served as president of his Local F.O.P. Lodge and worked on employee benefits and management relations. Mr. Ower understands the responsibilities and perspectives of pension trustees and works with them towards meeting investment goals.
Mr. Ower handles investments and services for our pension and individual clients. He manages clients’ cash flow needs and lends his experience to pension trustees with forms and systems that he designed to operate his own board efficiently. He frequently attends pension board meetings and delivers reports that trustees find comprehensive and easy to understand. Dwight also gives presentations to current and prospective clients at educational forums.
Mr. Ower has earned an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from College of Lake County and also attended Park College in Kansas City, Missouri. He has earned the IACCP Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional designation and is a registered investment advisor representative.
